The first session of the Ruunvald campaign is going to be held on *TBD*/2017 (very, very soon). I'll be the DM, and the beginning of the adventure will feature *TBD* (very, very soon). Now then; For the story.

Your adventure will begin in Quindel City. Your heroes will have crossed the Lansic Sea onto the Farstall continent, with Quindel being the cheapest port to enter and arrive in. From there, your heroes would've likely began continuing on to Almoor Village or directly from Quindel, where they would've been able to travel to wherever they were headed in the first place. The city, Quindel, is a toss-up of all races, and fairly notorious for harboring groups of thieves and thugs alike. Very few make an honest living, but some do. The city's controlled by a single man; The Shorty King. The Shorty King controls 4 houses, all of which have their own figurehead and different control of certain sectors of the city.

Your characters don't know much of the city besides what the crewmen on the ship you're traveling on have told you. They don't know too much either, as they've only recently started traveling to Quindel on a regular basis after other transport hubs have started taxing larger due to an ongoing war.

Besides the main city, there are three sections of "spines" located towards the northwest, northeast, and southeast of the city. These spines are areas where large, hill or mountain-like structures rise from the sands; Known to have the entrances to dangerous caves that none feel the need to explore.

Towards the east is the Almoor Village. This encampment was created a few hundred years ago; Settlers claimed the area and set up on the river which flows from the Valnor Mountains to the north. It's a simple village on the poorer side, still existing only due to the miners who bring minerals and ores down from the Valnor mountains which end up getting sold to the city.
